many years ago indigenous and native american tribes believed that photographs were magic and took away a piece of the soul. some still believe that to be true today.
i think that photography does capture the essence of our soul, but for the purpose of recording a single moment in time never to be redone, to be examined or explored by the generations that follow.
i try to capture these times in a natural setting with only the existing light and using minimal manipulation in post production.
